These tracks have been recorded solo in the course of this year. It is not a lockdown journal although the last touches have been added during these strange times. It’s mostly instrumental, just the electric saz and electronic gadgets, quite raw, sometimes improvised.

Sathönay is a project of Nico Poisson. Recently expanded into a trio, this project is based on oriental music through the use of an electric Saz (Saz is a type of turkish lute, to be short), cello and drums. From oriental music there is only the flavour, the songs can be more easily filed under vaguely pop psychedelia.
